Screenings
Screenings are upcoming for this film. Currently, you can catch this film at select film festivals. We expect the first non-festival screening to take place on the Big Island of Hawaii where the film was edited in April 2026.
Production Overview
Production for this film began back in spring 2014 with producer Daniel Morii and director Natec Linda Penn, about a month and production. Jesse was asked to be the cinematographer and editor. Unfortunately three years into documenting the legislative process, driving the story of the film, Daniel passed away. Jesse stepped in as Natec's co-director and together they were able to finish the film early in 2025.

This film required patience to make it. We had to wait for legislation to get past, and for businesses to not only get founded, but given enough opportunity to see them thrive.
